“Last summer… felt like a dream….” does anyone know this intro narration? Yesss, for fans of TSITP a.k.a. The Summer I Turned Pretty, you must be familiar with the narrative, especially if it’s accompanied by Taylor Swift’s song called August, you’ll definitely remember Jeremiah’s ocean blue eyes.
Speaking of Jeremiah TSITP, i want to share my experience of trying coffee and pastry at Gigi Susu coffee shop in Canggu, Bali. As far as i know, this coffee shop became more famous after being visited by Gavin Casalegno “Jeremiah TSITP”. Late last year, i came to Gigi Susu with my friends. It was the shortest vacation trip, so we took the time to go to Gigi Susu.

Gigi Susu: “Coffee To Go”
Gigi Susu is a coffee and pastry shop located at St. Pantai Batu Bolong Number 80, Canggu, Bali, which operates every day from 06.00 to 19.00 WITA. This shop has a super practical coffee to go concept, making it possible for visitors to enjoy coffee and pastries while preparing to continue their activities in the Canggu area.
In addition to selling a variety of coffee and pastries, Gigi Susu also sells a variety of bakery, breakfast menus, smoothie bowls, matcha latte, fresh juices, to protein shakes, so you don’t have to worry about finding a post workout menu for visitors who have been exercising in Canggu.

Instagramable Place
The place is right on the roadside, so it’s easy to find. Unfortunately, the parking lot is very limited, especially for car drivers. The unique building design is dominated by light pastel brown colors and decorated with flowering wall plants that creep, very contrasting to show the beauty, especially when the sky is blue. Oh yes, it’s quite hot when it’s midday!

Menu Price
For the four of us who ordered 4 coffees and 2 pastries, we spent a budget in the range of three hundred thousand rupiah, a little pricey but the taste offered is quite good. For me, the price is worth the experience.

Travel Tips
Since Gigi Susu is quite popular nowadays for both locals and tourists, it would be better if you go early in the morning to avoid the super long queue.

Thank you.
